After your day of adventure In Zion, Bryce, or dozens of other destinations in the area, it’s time to clean up, wind down a bit and then engage in some high-quality nocturnal desert hang time. Gather in our communal kitchen/bar and enjoy s’mores by the campfire. Trade stories and use our map library to plot what tomorrow will bring.
Eat
BaseCamp 37° is self-catering. Bring your own groceries conveniently acquired in one of Kanab’s two grocery stores. Fire up the propane grill in our outdoor kitchen or get busy in our large indoor kitchen. There is fridge space and a place to store your dry goods in the guest lodge, and basic spices, oil, foil, baggies, etc. If you prefer someone else to do the cooking, we will gladly recommend our favorite local restaurants.
Drink
BaseCamp 37° is BYOB. The state-licensed liquor store is the only place in Kanab for wine, spirits, and micro beers, M-Sat 12-7 pm. Beer and hard seltzer are available in some grocery/convenience stores.
French press coffee is available in the guest lodge. Chill your drinks in our shared refrigerators.
Stay
Starry nights with wide open views, Each tent has a Cal King bed with handmade Oaxacan bedspreads. Those looking for an additional full-size futon should choose Escalante, Hayduke, or Katie Lee tents.
